Services delivered
- Emotional regulation skills (understanding, processing and expressing) through use of music, dance, visual arts and drama. Examples of unregulated emotions; anger, frustration, anxiety, depression, impulsive behaviours, unpredictable and predictable outbursts, uncontrollable energy, difficulty identifying emotional cues, impulsivity, difficulty calming down when upset, being easily overwhelmed etc.
- Speech, language and communication skills through the use of creative arts.
- Social skills through the use of drama, social stories and performance.
- Assisting children to read, write and spell in fun and creative environments and practices.
- Assessments: Diagnostic testing, comprehension testing, tests for word recognition, phonological awareness and letter identification testing.
- Guiding phonemic awareness, alphabetic principle, accuracy and fluency with text, vocabulary and comprehension.
- Twenty years experience in working with children using creative arts to assist kids in self regulation. This includes children diagnosed with trauma, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, ODD, depression, learning disorders and children who shows signs of disabilities but may be undiagnosed.
- NDIS self-managed and plan-managed clients are welcome.
- School visits, preschool/ day-care visits and home visits may be offered based on availability.
